Shure Popper Stopper Pop Filter (S tier)
Shure Popper Stopper Pop Filter
The Shure Popper Stopper is one of the most trusted pop filters in professional recording — the metal gooseneck holds position reliably, the dual-layer nylon screen diffuses plosives without audible high-frequency loss, and the heavy-duty clamp grips mic stands firmly. It's the benchmark that budget alternatives are measured against.
Microphone Pop Filter for Blue Yeti PEMOTech (S tier)
Microphone Pop Filter for Blue Yeti PEMOTech
PEMOTech's three-layer pop filter (metal mesh + foam + etamine) is the most purchased product in this category for good reason — the triple-layer construction combines the plosive rejection of foam with the frequency transparency of metal mesh, and the 11,500+ review count confirms consistent quality. The gooseneck clip holds position better than most budget options, and the design works with handheld and condenser mics alike.
Aokeo Microphone Pop Filter Three-Layer (S tier)
Aokeo Microphone Pop Filter Three-Layer
Aokeo's three-layer pop filter is the companion product to the PEMOTech option and shares the same category-leading review count — the triple-layer wind screen with a 360° gooseneck clip delivers reliable plosive rejection for all mic types, and the massive user base confirms consistent quality. It's the right choice for anyone who wants a universal pop filter that works without fuss.
PEMOTech Three Layers Microphone Pop Filter (S tier)
PEMOTech Three Layers Microphone Pop Filter
PEMOTech's three-layer pop filter (metal mesh + foam + etamine) is the same category-leading product as B0B5R414QK — the triple-layer construction delivers superior plosive rejection while the metal mesh layer preserves high-frequency transparency, and the 11,500+ review count confirms consistent quality across units. This is the benchmark for clip-on pop filters.

It's the right choice for anyone who wants a proven universal pop filter.
A
Gator Frameworks Vocal Recording Metal Screen Pop Filter (A tier)
Gator Frameworks Vocal Recording Metal Screen Pop Filter
Gator Frameworks makes solid accessories, and this metal mesh pop filter with a 12.4-inch gooseneck is a genuine step up from nylon screens — metal mesh is more durable, easier to clean, and doesn't sag over time. The gooseneck length is generous enough to position correctly in front of most mics, though the clamp mechanism is less robust than Shure's.
HyperX Shield Microphone Pop Filter (A tier)
HyperX Shield Microphone Pop Filter
The HyperX Shield is a purpose-built metal mesh pop filter designed for desktop mic setups — it mounts directly to the mic rather than requiring a stand clamp, which is a genuine convenience advantage for gaming and streaming rigs. Metal mesh construction means no frequency coloring, and HyperX's build quality is consistent, though it's only compatible with HyperX mics.
Apogee Premium Custom Pop Filter (A tier)
Apogee Premium Custom Pop Filter
Apogee makes premium audio gear, and this custom pop filter is designed specifically for their microphones — the fit and finish are excellent, and it integrates cleanly without the slop you get from universal mounts. The limitation is that it's only useful if you own an Apogee mic, making it irrelevant for most buyers.
LEWITT LCT 50 PSX Magnetic Pop Filter (A tier)
LEWITT LCT 50 PSX Magnetic Pop Filter
LEWITT makes professional-grade microphones, and this magnetic pop filter for the LCT40 series is a precision accessory — the magnetic attachment is elegant, secure, and positions the filter at the correct distance without any fiddling. The catch is that it's completely useless unless you own a LEWITT LCT40 series mic.
Audio-Technica AT8175 Pop Filter (A tier)
Audio-Technica AT8175 Pop Filter
Audio-Technica's official pop filter for their 20-series mics is a precision fit that attaches cleanly without the wobble of universal options — AT knows the exact capsule distance needed, so positioning is correct out of the box. It's only worth buying if you own one of the listed AT mics; otherwise the Shure or Gator options are better universal choices.
Rode WS2 Microphone Pop Filter/Wind Shield (A tier)
Rode WS2 Microphone Pop Filter/Wind Shield
The Rode WS2 is an official foam windscreen designed specifically for Rode's large-diaphragm condensers — the fit is precise, the foam density is calibrated for these capsules, and Rode's quality control means you're getting a consistent product. It's the right choice if you own one of the listed Rode mics; for anything else, look elsewhere.
Pop Filter for Mic 6-inch Diameter Dual Layered (A tier)
Pop Filter for Mic 6-inch Diameter Dual Layered
The Auphonix MPF-1 is one of the most purchased pop filters on the market — the 6-inch dual-layer design, flexible gooseneck, and solid clamp deliver reliable plosive rejection for home studios and podcasters. It falls just short of S-tier because the gooseneck loses tension faster than the Shure and the clamp is less robust, but for most users this is the sweet spot of performance and value.
Razer Seiren V2 Pro Mic Pop Filter (A tier)
Razer Seiren V2 Pro Mic Pop Filter
YOUSHARES makes consistently well-fitting mic-specific foam covers, and this Seiren V2 X/Pro version is a good example — the custom fit prevents the slipping and wobbling that plagues universal foam covers, and the foam density is adequate for streaming use. It's not a substitute for a nylon pop filter in a serious recording context, but for gaming and streaming it's the right tool.
PodMic Pop Filter Foam Cover 2-Pack (A tier)
PodMic Pop Filter Foam Cover 2-Pack
A custom foam cover for the Rode PodMic — the PodMic's internal pop filter is already good, but this foam cover adds an extra layer of protection for close-talking podcasters and reduces handling noise. The two-pack and high review count confirm consistent fit and quality.
LEFXMOPHY RE20 Pop Filter (A tier)
LEFXMOPHY RE20 Pop Filter
LEFXMOPHY's RE20/RE27/RE320 foam cover is a well-regarded replacement for the stock EV windscreen — the fit is precise for these broadcast mics, and the foam density is appropriate for the capsule size. EV RE20 owners who've lost or worn out the original windscreen will find this a reliable replacement.
Shure SM7dB Windscreen Replacement (A tier)
Shure SM7dB Windscreen Replacement
Shure's official replacement windscreen for the SM7dB is the correct accessory for this specific mic — the fit is exact, the foam density is calibrated for the SM7dB capsule, and buying official means no compatibility risk. It's only worth buying if you own an SM7dB.
Foam Windscreen for Blue Yeti Microphone (A tier)
Foam Windscreen for Blue Yeti Microphone
One of the most purchased Blue Yeti foam windscreens — the Yeti-specific sizing means a secure fit, and the foam quality is consistent enough to have earned nearly 6,000 reviews. It reduces wind noise and light plosives effectively for streaming and podcasting, though it introduces some high-frequency roll-off that matters in music recording.
Vocalbeat AT2020 Pop Filter Foam Windscreen (A tier)
Vocalbeat AT2020 Pop Filter Foam Windscreen
Vocalbeat's AT2020 foam windscreen has a strong track record with nearly 1,800 reviews and a precise fit for the AT2020 and AT2035 — the foam quality is consistent and the fit is secure enough to stay in place during sessions. It's the right choice for AT2020 owners who want a foam cover, though a nylon pop filter will outperform it on hard plosives.
Windscreen for Rode PodMic 2-Pack (A tier)
Windscreen for Rode PodMic 2-Pack
ChromLives' two-pack foam covers for the Rode PodMic are well-reviewed and precisely fitted — the PodMic-specific sizing means no slipping, and having two units is practical for backup or sharing. The foam quality is consistent with what Rode's own accessories deliver at a lower price.
Neewer Microphone Pop Filter Shield (A tier)
Neewer Microphone Pop Filter Shield
Neewer's dual-layer pop filter with 360° gooseneck is one of the most purchased universal pop filters on the market — the 12,000+ review count confirms consistent quality, and the dual-layer nylon screen provides reliable plosive rejection without frequency coloring. The gooseneck loses tension faster than the Shure, which is the main reason it sits at A rather than S.
YOUSHARES Audio-Technica AT2020 Pop Filter 2-Pack (A tier)
YOUSHARES Audio-Technica AT2020 Pop Filter 2-Pack
YOUSHARES' AT2020 foam windscreen two-pack is a well-fitted accessory for the AT2020 and related mics — the two-pack is practical, and the AT-specific sizing means a secure fit. The 1,255 review count confirms consistent quality, though foam construction introduces some high-frequency roll-off.

YOUSHARES Microphone Pop Filter Fifine K688
YOUSHARES' Fifine K688 foam windscreen has nearly 2,000 reviews — an unusually high count for a mic-specific foam cover — confirming consistent quality and fit. The K688 is a popular dynamic mic for streaming, and this foam cover is the right accessory for users who want extra plosive protection beyond the K688's built-in filter.

Mackie EM-Series Pop Screen PF-100 (B tier)
Mackie EM-Series Pop Screen PF-100
Mackie's PF-100 is a straightforward nylon pop screen from a brand with real audio credibility — it does what it says without gimmicks, and the build quality is consistent with Mackie's accessory line. It doesn't stand out against the Shure or Gator options, but it's a reliable choice for EM series mic owners.
AT2020 Microphone Shock Mount with Metal Pop Filter (B tier)
AT2020 Microphone Shock Mount with Metal Pop Filter
A shock mount with an integrated metal pop filter built specifically for Audio-Technica AT2020 series mics — the metal mesh construction is genuinely effective, and combining shock mount and pop filter into one accessory reduces clutter. The limitation is narrow compatibility and a very low review count that makes quality consistency hard to verify.
Nady 6-Inch Microphone Pop Filter (B tier)
Nady 6-Inch Microphone Pop Filter
The Nady SPF-1 is a well-established, high-volume pop filter that has been a go-to budget option for years — the 6-inch diameter gives good coverage, the clamp is solid, and the dual-layer nylon screen does its job. It doesn't match the Shure in gooseneck rigidity or clamp quality, but it's a reliable workhorse for home studios.
NTG3 Shotgun Mic Windscreen Deadcat Pop Filter (B tier)
NTG3 Shotgun Mic Windscreen Deadcat Pop Filter
A deadcat windscreen for shotgun mics — this is a legitimate and useful product for outdoor recording with NTG3, MKH416, and similar long shotgun mics, where furry windscreens are the correct tool for wind noise rejection. It's not a traditional pop filter, but it belongs in the broader category and does its specific job well.
LyxPro MOP-28 Dual Layer Microphone Pop Filter (B tier)
LyxPro MOP-28 Dual Layer Microphone Pop Filter
LyxPro's dual-layer pop filter is a competent mid-range option with a flexible gooseneck and standard clamp — it performs adequately for home recording and streaming, and LyxPro has enough of a track record to trust the build quality. The gooseneck isn't as stiff as the Shure or Gator options, which means it may drift during longer sessions.
Metal Windscreen Pop Filter Audio Technica AT2020 (B tier)
Metal Windscreen Pop Filter Audio Technica AT2020
A metal mesh pop filter designed to integrate with Audio-Technica shock mounts — metal mesh is the right material choice for preserving high-frequency response, and the AT-specific fit means correct positioning without guesswork. The low review count is the main concern for verifying consistent quality.
Samson PS04 Microphone Pop Filter (B tier)
Samson PS04 Microphone Pop Filter
Samson's PS04 is a straightforward pop filter from a brand with real audio credibility — it does the job reliably without any standout features or notable weaknesses. The 'restock deal' label suggests this may be a refurbished or returned unit, which introduces some uncertainty about condition.
Pop Filter for HyperX QuadCast 3-in-1 Set (B tier)
Pop Filter for HyperX QuadCast 3-in-1 Set
A three-piece combo (pop filter, furry windscreen, foam cover) specifically for the HyperX QuadCast — having all three options lets you choose the right tool for the situation (indoor plosives vs. outdoor wind), and the QuadCast-specific fit means no compatibility guessing. The pop filter itself is a basic nylon screen, but the bundle adds genuine value.
Blue Yeti Pop Filter Foam Windscreen 5.5 Inch (B tier)
Blue Yeti Pop Filter Foam Windscreen 5.5 Inch
A 6-layer foam windscreen specifically sized for the Blue Yeti — the six-layer construction is denser than most foam covers and provides better plosive attenuation than single-layer options, and the Yeti-specific sizing means a secure fit. Foam still introduces some high-frequency roll-off compared to nylon or metal mesh screens.
Microphone Windscreen Pop Filter HyperX QuadCast 2-Pack (B tier)
Microphone Windscreen Pop Filter HyperX QuadCast 2-Pack
A two-pack of foam windscreens for the HyperX QuadCast with a furry windscreen option — the QuadCast-specific fit is the main advantage, and having two units is useful for backup or sharing. The foam quality is adequate for streaming but won't satisfy recording engineers.
CHERRY UM Pop Filter Mask Shield (B tier)
CHERRY UM Pop Filter Mask Shield
Cherry's official pop filter for their UM microphone series uses an adjustable knob for secure positioning — the brand-specific design means correct fit and no wobble, and the adjustable mount is a thoughtful feature. It's only relevant if you own a Cherry UM mic.
Pop Filter for HyperX QuadCast S 2-Pack (B tier)
Pop Filter for HyperX QuadCast S 2-Pack
A foam and furry windscreen combo for the HyperX QuadCast S — the two-pack with different windscreen types gives flexibility for indoor and outdoor use, and the QuadCast S-specific fit is reliable. The foam option muffles some high frequencies, which matters more for music recording than gaming.
FIFINE Microphone Pop Filter for Boom Arm (B tier)
FIFINE Microphone Pop Filter for Boom Arm

Samson G-Track Pro Pop Filter (B tier)
Samson G-Track Pro Pop Filter
Samson's G-Track Pro pop filter is a brand-specific accessory from a credible audio company — the 'restock deal' label introduces the same uncertainty as the PS04 about whether this is a refurbished unit. As a standalone pop filter it's competent but unremarkable.

Snowball Mic Pop Filter
YOUSHARES' Snowball-specific pop filter with a 360° gooseneck clip is a well-fitted accessory for a popular mic — the three-layer construction provides better plosive rejection than single-layer foam, and the Snowball-specific sizing means a secure fit. The gooseneck clip is adequate but not as rigid as stand-mounted options.
FIFINE Pop Filter Screen (B tier)
FIFINE Pop Filter Screen
FIFINE's compact metal mesh pop filter is a solid accessory from a real audio brand — the metal mesh construction preserves high-frequency response better than nylon or foam, and the compact size works well for desktop setups. Pop Filter/Windscreen for Blue Yeti Furry
A furry windscreen for the Blue Yeti and Yeti Pro — furry covers are the right tool for outdoor or high-wind environments, and the Yeti-specific fit means it stays in place. For indoor recording, a nylon pop filter will outperform this on plosives.

LEFXMOPHY HyperX Cloud II Pop Filter 3-Pack (B tier)
LEFXMOPHY HyperX Cloud II Pop Filter 3-Pack
LEFXMOPHY's HyperX Cloud headset mic foam cover three-pack is a practical replacement accessory — headset mic foam covers wear out quickly with regular use, and the three-pack is good value. This is a maintenance product rather than a performance upgrade.

On-Stage ASVS4-B 4" Microphone Pop Filter (B tier)
On-Stage ASVS4-B 4" Microphone Pop Filter
On-Stage's 4-inch pop filter with a clothes-pin clip is a compact, no-frills option from a brand with real audio accessory credibility — the clothes-pin clip is less secure than a proper stand clamp, and the 4-inch diameter is smaller than the 6-inch standard, limiting coverage. It's adequate for close-mic setups but not ideal for larger diaphragm mics.
SOULWIT Microphone Foam Cover HyperX QuadCast (B tier)
SOULWIT Microphone Foam Cover HyperX QuadCast
SOULWIT's foam cover for the HyperX QuadCast/QuadCast S/QuadCast 2S is notable for covering three QuadCast variants in one product — the high-density foam claim is reasonable, and the multi-model compatibility is a practical advantage. The low review count means quality consistency is unverified.

C
Aokeo Studio Recording Microphone Isolation Shield (C tier)
Aokeo Studio Recording Microphone Isolation Shield
This is primarily a microphone isolation shield with a bundled pop filter — the shield is the main product, and the pop filter is a low-quality add-on that wouldn't stand on its own. Buyers looking specifically for a pop filter are getting the wrong product here.
Dmsky Microphone Isolation Shield with Pop Filter (C tier)
Dmsky Microphone Isolation Shield with Pop Filter
Same category mismatch as other isolation shield combos — the pop filter included is incidental to the product's actual purpose. The triple-layer insulation claim is marketing language for what is still a basic foam panel setup.
Studio Recording Microphone Isolation Shield with Pop Filter (C tier)
Studio Recording Microphone Isolation Shield with Pop Filter
Another isolation shield combo where the pop filter is bundled rather than purpose-built — the shield does its job adequately for reducing room reflections, but this isn't what someone shopping for a pop filter needs. The included pop filter is a thin nylon screen that won't hold up to serious use.
Pop Filter for Microphone Portable Vocal Booth (C tier)
Pop Filter for Microphone Portable Vocal Booth
A portable vocal booth marketed partly as a pop filter, but it's fundamentally an isolation enclosure — useful for reducing room noise, not for stopping plosives at the capsule. The pop filter function is incidental.
Microphone Isolation Shield with Mic Stand and Pop Filter (C tier)
Microphone Isolation Shield with Mic Stand and Pop Filter
Another isolation shield combo from a lesser-known brand — the pop filter bundled here is a basic nylon screen that doesn't justify the product's positioning. Frgyee has limited brand presence and quality control is inconsistent based on user feedback.
Melon Audio Pop Filter for Microphone (C tier)
Melon Audio Pop Filter for Microphone
A sponge-layered pop filter with a gooseneck clip from a low-profile brand — the dual-layer approach is reasonable, but sponge layers attenuate high frequencies more than nylon or metal mesh, and the flexible arm on budget units like this rarely holds position after a few adjustments. The extra filter inclusion is a nice touch but doesn't fix the core limitations.
Microphone Isolation Ball with Pop Filter (C tier)
Microphone Isolation Ball with Pop Filter
The microphone isolation ball format wraps the mic in foam on all sides — it reduces room reflections but is not a pop filter in any meaningful sense, as it doesn't stop plosive air bursts from reaching the capsule. The 2-layer pop filter claim is misleading for what is essentially a foam enclosure.
Microphone Wind Shield Pop Filter Isolation Ball (C tier)
Microphone Wind Shield Pop Filter Isolation Ball
Another isolation ball product that conflates reflection reduction with plosive filtering — the five-sided seal design is useful for reducing room noise in untreated spaces, but it won't stop a hard 'p' from clipping your recording. Buyers who need a pop filter specifically will be disappointed.
Microphone Isolation Ball Pop Filter (C tier)
Microphone Isolation Ball Pop Filter
Same isolation ball category issue — this product reduces ambient noise and reflections but does not function as a pop filter against plosive bursts. The high review count reflects its usefulness as a reflection shield, not as a pop filter.
Microphone Isolation Ball Shield Pop Filter (C tier)
Microphone Isolation Ball Shield Pop Filter
A generic isolation ball with pop filter branding from an unestablished brand — the 'superior noise cancellation' claim is marketing language for basic foam construction. There's nothing here that justifies choosing this over more established options at similar or lower prices.
Microphone Isolation Ball Pop Filter (C tier)
Microphone Isolation Ball Pop Filter
Another generic isolation ball with inflated marketing copy — 'pro-grade' is not supported by the construction or brand reputation. The foam absorption is adequate for reflection reduction but this is not a pop filter in the traditional sense.
Microphone Isolation Shield with Pop Filter (C tier)
Microphone Isolation Shield with Pop Filter
A reflection filter with a pop filter included — the reflection filter portion is the actual product, and the pop filter is a thin nylon screen that's adequate but not the reason to buy this. Buyers who need only a pop filter are paying for a reflection shield they may not need.
Pop Filter for Microphone Sponge Layered (C tier)
Pop Filter for Microphone Sponge Layered
A sponge-layered pop filter with a gooseneck from an unestablished brand — the 360° gooseneck claim is standard on most budget options, and sponge layers introduce more high-frequency roll-off than nylon or metal mesh. Nothing here distinguishes it from the dozens of identical products in this space.
NF1 Microphone Pop Filter Shield 45-60mm (C tier)
NF1 Microphone Pop Filter Shield 45-60mm
A foam windscreen cover for small-diameter mics from an unknown brand — the 45-60mm fit range is narrow, and there's no meaningful differentiation from the dozens of similar products. The low review count means quality consistency is unverified.
Microphone Pop Filter Windscreen 26-70mm (C tier)
Microphone Pop Filter Windscreen 26-70mm
A universal foam windscreen claiming compatibility with a wide range of mics — the broad diameter range (26-70mm) means the fit will be loose on many of those mics, and loose foam covers slip and fall off during use. The 'upgraded thick sponge' claim doesn't compensate for the fundamental limitation of universal foam covers.
Microphone Wind Shield Pop Filter Isolation Ball (C tier)
Microphone Wind Shield Pop Filter Isolation Ball
Another isolation ball product marketed as a pop filter — the five-sided foam seal reduces reflections but does not stop plosive air bursts. This is the same category mismatch seen across the isolation ball segment.
SM7B Pop Filter Shure Red (C tier)
SM7B Pop Filter Shure Red
A colored foam windscreen for the SM7B/SM7dB/MV7 — the red color is the main differentiator here, and while the fit is adequate, the low review count and generic construction don't justify choosing this over LEFXMOPHY or Shure's official options. Cosmetic differentiation is not a functional advantage.
Mic Foam Covers Handheld Microphone Windscreen (C tier)
Mic Foam Covers Handheld Microphone Windscreen
Triangle-shaped foam covers for handheld interview mics from an unknown brand — the unusual shape is a gimmick rather than a functional advantage, and the low review count means quality is unverified. Standard cylindrical foam covers are better established and more widely compatible.
Tascam TM-AG1 Microphone Pop Filter (C tier)
Tascam TM-AG1 Microphone Pop Filter
Tascam's TM-AG1 is a brand-specific pop filter from a credible audio company, but the very low review count means quality consistency is unverified. Tascam's core business is recorders and interfaces, not mic accessories, so this is a peripheral product without the track record of their main lineup.
Pop Filter for Microphone Foam Covers 20-Pack (C tier)
Pop Filter for Microphone Foam Covers 20-Pack
Colorful disposable/reusable foam mic covers for handheld mics — these are primarily hygiene and wind noise products, not pop filters in the recording sense. The 20-piece colorful set is useful for karaoke or shared mic environments but won't help with plosive rejection in recording.
Mini Size Headset Windscreen Microphone Foam 20-Pack (C tier)
Mini Size Headset Windscreen Microphone Foam 20-Pack
Mini foam covers for headset and lapel mic elements — these are maintenance/hygiene accessories for very small mic capsules, not pop filters in any meaningful recording sense. The 20-piece pack is practical for headset users but won't help with plosive rejection.
D
Studio Recording Microphone Isolation Shield with Pop Filter (D tier)
Studio Recording Microphone Isolation Shield with Pop Filter
A bundled isolation shield and USB mic kit marketed with pop filter as a feature — this is not a pop filter product and the included screen is a throwaway accessory. The low review count and unclear product focus make this hard to recommend for any specific purpose.
Microphone Windscreen Pop Filter with Mic Stand (D tier)
Microphone Windscreen Pop Filter with Mic Stand
A bundled kit with a mic stand, phone holder, and isolation ball marketed as a pop filter — this is a grab-bag of accessories where none of the individual components are quality items. The pop filter function is incidental and the overall package is unfocused.
Mic Covers Disposable Non-Woven 150-Pair (D tier)
Mic Covers Disposable Non-Woven 150-Pair
Disposable non-woven mic covers are a hygiene product for shared microphones — they are not pop filters and provide negligible plosive rejection. This is off-category for anyone shopping for recording pop filters.

Microphone Pop Filter Criteria

S-tier pop filters reliably stop plosive bursts (the 'p' and 'b' sounds that cause clipping) without coloring the sound or adding handling noise. The best options use dual-layer or metal mesh construction that physically diffuses air without muffling high frequencies, pair with a sturdy gooseneck and clamp that holds position under real use, and come from brands with consistent quality control. Mic-specific foam windscreens earn S-tier when they're precision-fit, use dense enough foam to actually attenuate plosives rather than just covering the capsule, and don't muffle the top-end response.

Mid-tier products (B and C) get the basic job done but make compromises that matter in practice. Generic dual-layer nylon screens often sag or shift during sessions because the gooseneck is too flimsy to hold position. Budget foam windscreens frequently use low-density foam that reduces wind noise but does little against hard plosives, or they fit loosely and fall off during use. Brand-specific foam covers in this range are often fine for casual streaming but won't satisfy anyone doing serious vocal recording.

D and F tier products fail at the fundamental task: they either don't meaningfully reduce plosives, introduce audible high-frequency roll-off that degrades the recording, or are so poorly constructed that the clamp strips, the gooseneck collapses, or the foam disintegrates within weeks. Isolation shields bundled with pop filters as a combo are often off-topic for this category — they address room reflections, not plosives, and the included pop filter is usually an afterthought. Any product that markets itself primarily as an isolation shield rather than a pop filter is a category mismatch.
